Brief biography

I am a composer, singer/songwriter, life coach and cultural activist.  Musically, I have explored many genres from alternative cabaret, to contemporary classical, to indie rock and more recently electronica, downtempo and ambient. Often, I have blurred lines between any or all of these and enjoyed the experience. I've contributed music to film, TV and theatre as well as my own songs and most recently composed the music and content for a meditation and well-being app - soon to be released!

Impossible Geometries is my tenth release.

Exploring the complexity of relationships, whether with ourselves or others, or the particular nature of the times we are living through, these songs seek to peer beyond whatever systems or routines we impose upon ourselves, or have had imposed upon us, beyond the paradoxical terrain of being human, to some kernel of truth about our beingness.

Present moment experience is all we truly have, yet it is always vanishing. How do we live in the moment, constantly shifting to the next? Where are we when our mind is somewhere else? Who are we when our mind is trying to be someone else? How do we fit inside ourselves and fit together with others?
